Coleen Nolan shares her horror online dating experiences
Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan has opened up about her warts and all experiences of online dating.
Coleen, 56, previously revealed she had set up online profiles on several dating apps in 2020.
She has since managed to find love through Tinder and is dating a divorced father of one, whose identity she has decided to keep private.
In a candid conversation with her Loose Women co-hosts, Coleen described the issues she faced when she was trying to put herself out there in the modern dating world.
Coleen previously showed a snippet of her Tinder profile, which featured a barefaced selfie and read: “Dipping my toe in online dating waters for the first time.

“I’m looking for a man to share cosy dinners in and fun days out, who will put a smile on my face and a spring in my step.”

“It would either be a fish or some guy sitting in an armchair surrounded by six cans of lager.”
She said others offered, “Are you really a loose woman?”

Beyond the profiles, Coleen raised the issue that many of her potential suitors thought she wasn’t who she said she was.
She said: “A lot of them thought I was catfishing them and it wasn’t me. They said, why would you be on here and I thought why wouldn’t I be? Where else am I going to go?
Ironically, when Coleen first joined the online dating world she voiced fears of being catfished herself, saying: “But here’s my issue – how do I know it’s the real them?”
Ruth Langsford replied: “This is the issue isn’t it, I think that’s why so many people are put off.”
